Quiet location close to resort is perfect for families.

This spacious modern 3 star chalet is in the quiet residential area of La Mernaz, in Morzine. It’s about 1km from the centre of the resort, and overlooking the Le Pleney and Nyon slopes. Bought by the owners in 2012, it has been recently renovated and refurnished with high-quality materials, and offers ideal accommodation for a large group with young children - close to all commodities yet tranquil. A car would be useful when you stay at Chalet La Martre des Pins, but it’s just a 20 minute walk into Morzine, and the ski bus stops about 400m away, so it’s not essential. The Nyon cable car is about 700m away. The chalet is surrounded by trees and sloping grass (not enclosed), so there’s plenty of space for children to let off steam.

Everything you need for a great holiday - just relax and enjoy it!

The owners of Chalet La Martre des Pins have thought of everything you’ll need for a comfortable mountain holiday. Set over three floors, the chalet sleeps 12 people, with three double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a children’s room with two sets of bunks (top bunks not suitable for children under 6 years old). There are two shower rooms and a stylish bathroom, which also has a separate shower. Downstairs, the newly-fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar and is open to the dining area, which is big enough to seat everyone together. The cosy living room has a woodburning stove and is the perfect place to gather after dinner. The living area opens on to a large balcony, with stunning views on to the slopes. There’s a smaller balcony upstairs, accessible from 2 of the bedrooms - the perfect place to enjoy your morning cuppa! On the lower entrance floor, there’s a heated boot rack and a laundry so you’ll always be ready for another fabulous day in the mountains.

A quiet mountain with great skiing in every direction.

Chalet La Martre des Pins is around 700m from the Nyon ski lift that links Morzine and Les Gets, and the ski bus stops 400m from the chalet so you can be in the heart of the Portes du Soleil in no time at all. The region’s 12 ski resorts offer 650km of slopes and almost 200 lifts, so there is plenty of choice for skiers and boarders of all abilities. This winter sports paradise crosses the border into Switzerland - experienced skiers will enjoy the challenge of the infamous Swiss Wall - one of the fastest descents on any piste map. If you’re not a skier, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which are often host to ice hockey matches, and a stunning new indoor swimming pool complex. The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or tandem paragliding, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride. Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park just a short walk away offers a variety of activities for all ages.

Enjoy action-packed days or relax in the sunshine in this outdoor paradise.

There’s just as much going on in the Portes du Soleil in the summer as in the winter. The slopes and mountain trails become a paradise for mountain bikers - put your bike on the ski lift to go up and save your energy for the adrenalin-filled descent. Walkers can take advantage of the lifts too, to discover high-altitude trails and stunning views. Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment, so it’s the perfect choice for young families. There are superb water parks in Morzine and Avoriaz, as well as two summer sledging runs. The Indiana adventure park, just a short walk away, has a range of assault courses to suit all ages, and other activities in the area include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing, kayaking and hiking. Small children (and big kids!) will love the village of Les Lindarets, where goats wander freely - it’s a great place to stop for lunch too. With so much to do, why not book another week?

Climb the mountains, cruise the lakes or just enjoy the views.

Morzine and the neighbouring resorts of Les Gets and Avoriaz offer plenty of variety for a holiday, whatever the time of year, but if you venture a little further, there’s plenty more to discover. The Portes du Soleil resorts cross the border with Switzerland, giving you two countries and two cultures to experience, and the pretty spa town of Evian-les-Bains, on the banks of lake Geneva, is a great destination for a day out. From there, you can take a boat to other lakeside towns such as Lausanne and Montreux. In Chamonix, just an hour’s drive away, you can take a ride on the second-largest cable car in the world, and take in the spectacular views from Mont Blanc. In summer, the breath-taking drive over the mountains to Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is worth a day trip. With Geneva airport just over an hour’s drive away, Morzine is easily accessible for a weekend or short break, but with so much to see and do, you’re bound to want to stay longer. You can also take advantage of the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass, offering unrestricted access to the full range of family activities, at an exclusive rate of 2€.

“Magnificent, quiet and peaceful”

A pleasant holiday in this magnificent chalet, which is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. A quiet and peaceful location away from the centre, but still close to the ski slopes.

Aurélien G. - 03/02/2018

“An unforgettable stay”

The chalet matched the description on the website, the services and cleanliness were perfect and we had a warm welcome.

All of this meant we had an unforgettable family holiday.
The living room is spacious and pleasant, with a nice fireplace. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are clean and comfy, and we did appreciate the ski storeroom and the well-equipped kitchen.
We loved the quietness, the view and the location of the chalet.

“Comfortable chalet”

This is a really comfortable, homely family chalet. It suited us to have a relaxed feel.

We did appreciate the multi pass which is fantastic. Brilliant for kids.

We loved the area and would return.

“Exactly as described”

A brilliant chalet, exactly as described. Actually the pictures do not do it justice. Great service, we would certainly go back.

Robert E. - 11/03/2017

“A great holiday”

The chalet is a good size and pleasant for a holiday with family or friends. It is perhaps a little dark in places. The ski station of Morzine is really good.

Mélanie B. - 25/02/2017

“Pure happiness!”

A very nice family holiday in a very lovely comfortable chalet, which was well equipped and just what we needed. The quiet, the countryside ... pure happiness!

Dominique W. - 14/01/2017

“It was a great winter vacation! ”

We were vacationing with family and friends for Christmas and the chalet has everything for a carefree holiday. Everything is very clean and cozy. In the bedrooms on the second floor, the morning starts with singing birds, and the living room offers a magnificent view of the snow-capped peaks. You can access the city centre in 15-20 minutes at a quick pace. The managers of the chalet were always in touch and helped in the solution of questions before our arrival and during the stay. And also allowed us a late check out, absolutely free! Highly recommended!

“Beautiful chalet, great location near resort centre”

Great holiday for our 3 families. Comfortable, welcoming and sunny. We'll come back with great pleasure.

José P. - 23/12/2016

“Our wedding week in Morzine was unforgettable! ”

And the warmth of our beautiful comfortable chalet was the icing on the cake! Beautiful weather, sunshine and happiness were all there. To be repeated again and again.

Fabienne G. - 13/03/2016

“A super holiday in your super chalet! ”

The Morzine/Avoriaz area is magnificent and the pistes are the best - thanks very much! A wonderful unforgettable week!

Olivier D. - 20/02/2016

“We liked the chalet very much !”

We stayed at La Martre des Pins with 8 adults, 2 children from 4 years old and 3 children around 1 year old. Everything was available in the chalet for cooking, there was enough space in the kitchen/living room for all of us and the chalet was modern and clean. The separate room to dry our skiing clothes and material was very cool and came in handy! The people from MyHome and especially Aurélie are very helpful and flexible, great service! It was nice that we could communicate in English! The distance to the slopes is a little bit far considering the 3 babys, but for people without small children it's okay. There is a free bus service to the town of Morzine. We had a great time in La Martre des Pins and hope to come again sometime!

Sofie D. - 06/02/2016

“A perfect holiday!”

The Chalet has been perfectly renovated with top quality materials. A beautiful kitchen and comfortable bathrooms. The large bedroom on the ground floor was lovely with its private bathroom. The ski store is very well designed with boot warmers. The last 20 metres driving to the chalet can be difficult after fresh snow - make sure you have snow chains. Its quick and easy to get to the centre of Morzine (5 minutes).

Christophe L. - 30/01/2016

“Chalet Parfait !! ”

Très propre, très fonctionnel et très bien équipé. La répartition des étages est très bien conçue quand on séjourne à plusieurs (espace nuit séparé).

Fanny J. - 26/12/2015

“A perfect chalet! ”

Very clean, very practical and very well equipped. The way the chalet is arranged is very well-thought out, especially when there are several people staying (with the separate bedroom area).

Fanny J. - 26/12/2015

“Fantastic chalet and excellent service”

Having the house cleaned once a week was a big plus, and so was the special price we got for the "Multipass" card that allowed us to spend great family moments together.

Sylvie M. - 11/07/2015

“Charming and practical”

A charming chalet - very clean and above all, very practical. The village of Morzine and its pistes are really lovely. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back.

Emmanuelle T. - 21/02/2015

“Looking forward to next time!”

Everything has run very smoothly since we arrived and the welcome was perfect. The chalet is comfortable and spacious - lots of people can stay here without getting under each other's feet. Despite its proximity to the village it is in a quiet location, which is very peaceful. The link to Avoriaz made for some great days skiing.

Gildas E. - 20/12/2014

“We would love to come back another time!”

We didn't know Morzine and we found this village really charming. The chalet is well located and perfectly appointed. Big thanks to the whole team and more particularly to Aurélie who was very kind and available.
